Helping to Promote Thought

In keeping with Tasha Baby's everlasting message to promote thought, I decided to post up a video, with a theme of just that. And yes, I am making up for the lack of panache my last blog had. This is a video of yet, another Def Poetry Jam, but this time not of Taylor Mali, but of Steve Coleman. He's better at promoting thought more than I can, so here it is: I Want To Hear A Poem - Steve Coleman

North American Union and the 'destruction' of the world

I won't be so arrogant to say that I was one of the few who had heard of the North American Union, but I haven't heard all about it, in all it's splendor and glory. Now to discuss the video clip, which I will watch or just ask you to lend it to me.

I understand the point of the movie is to shock and inspire you to become more aware of what's going on in the world, but I think it stretched itself a bit much. Nonetheless, it did it's job and will inspire many to do just what it was hoping for. Now the whole North American Union conspiracy. Yes, I have heard of it, and did not pay it much attention, because I had heard it as a conspiracy theory deal. Now, if it were true, I don't really see a problem with a union to basically help now two countries, because not only is Mejico down the crapper, but America is swirling down the porcelain express.

The whole idea of an organized world where there is no more useless and pointless worlds sounds good to me, and if it only means, the only fighting that takes place, is by anarchistic stooges then, hey why not. The whole corruption and authoritarian govts thing I think is like the worst case scenario. I think just as much as we fear it, the leaders of the world fear it even more. So I really think they will take major steps to prevent and squash any such antics.

NOW, the whole media leading my life thing. I've already expressed myself on this issue. Yes, the weak-minded, the incredibly gullible, and desperately seeking love/attention of the world may be manipulated by it. Hell, I may have been victim to it. But to the degree the video, or anyone *cough*tashababy*cough* says, nahhhh.

Now, since my blog lacks pinache and pretty different coloured, underlined words or pictures and videos, I apologize. Oh look at that. Jaja.

s * |V| 3 vv H 4 7 c 0 |\| F U |\| [) L 3 [)

I could have sworn the first prompt was on Marginalization or something like that, but I'll go with common sense and do this blog entry as was stated in INSPIRED MUSINGS.

As everyone already probably knows, I have had a blog since the beginning of Fall semester of '07. Again I want to reiterate that I find the process of expressing oneself on a page that neither gives you any consoling words or cheery smiles, just a bit pointless. Not that I don't like having one. I mean, every once in a while, I do write a blog that I post up for fun (for any further insight, go back to 2007 on my blog and 'shek id ow'). But that occurs once in a blue moon. Blogs seem so impersonal and for me, just expressing myself, just seems 'blahh'.

Well back to the prompt. Having a blog seems more like another piece of homework, rather than a way to express myself. But it does help in my writing, and my gathering and ordering of thoughts, so there is that plus. Having a blog was not really my choice, and again I wasn't, too thrilled with having one. But it was asked of me, so I answered the call to at least pass my class with a A. What's disappointing this time around is that we cannot vandalize Tasha-Baby's blog anymore. Not saying that I did it myself. But it was fun going to her page and watching countless of thick-headed kids constantly fail in their blog assignments for not following simple directions. (Also, having Tasha flip out in class and put up countless warnings on her blog was quite amusing as well.) Now some of you may look at my blog and think, "Whoa this kid has dark colours, he must be like emo or something, you know?" (Check out my "AMERICA'S GOTTEN SOFT" blog, to understand my quote.) Quite the contrary, I chose this setting because it brought a sense of ease and tranquility, rather than the other gaudy skins and backgrounds. This one just seemed plain enough for me, and did not require me to put on sunglasses every time I opened my blog, to shield me from the obnoxiously bright colours. Now finally, the security settings on my blog. I have opened it up to everyone who wants to read it, because I wasn't about to go out and look up everyone's blog myself and add them, too much work for me. So that is the reason why anyone is willing to come in and enjoy the greatness that is me.

Now, I have thought about this and I've decided to end each of my blogs with a question. Comment on it if you like, it doesn't matter to me either way.

Do penguins have knees?

A response to Tasha's rebuttal

since we can't comment on her thing anymore! which btw i think is a total jip.. atleast your fig class should be able to, cause we never wrote or vandalized your blog, but w.e! here is the response

jaja tasha, funny funny...

you take things so personal. one person writes a bad review and you go all out to destroy the kid's, and yes the person who wrote that dumb review is a prepubescent child who has no idea to express him/herself well, or coherently for that matter. but i digress, yes, you go all out to destroy the kid's idiotic ranting. but hell, more power to you.

and don't worry, 99% of your students think that you are a great, fair, and dedicated teacher. and you're fig thinks you are hot don't worry jaja

and i'm sorry to say, but us MEN are 19

Merry Christmas

Yes, my friends, it is that time again. It is a pleasure for me to present, the inquiry into Santa Claus and his annual Christmas eve jaunt.

1) No known species of reindeer can fly. BUT there are 300,000 species of living organism yet to be classified, and while most of these are insects and germs, this does not COMPLETELY rule out flying reindeer which only Santa has ever seen.

2) There are 2 billion children (persons under 18) in the world. BUT since Santa doesn't (appear) to handle the Muslim, Hindu, Jewish, and Buddhist children, that reduces the workload to 15% of the total - 378 million according to Population Reference Bureau. At an average (census) rate of 3.5 children per househould, that's 91.8 million homes. For the sake of our ensuing calculatioins, we will assume that there is at least one good child in each.

3) Santa has 31 hours of Christmas to work with, thanks to the different time zones and the rotation of the earth, assuming he travels east to west (which seems logical). This works out to 822.6 visits per second. This is to say that for each Christian household with good children, Santa has 1.2 milliseconds to park, hop out of the sleigh, jump down the chimney, fill the stockings, distribute the remaining presents under the tree, eat whatever snacks have been left, get back up the chimney, get back into the sleigh, and move on to the next house. Assuming that each of these 91.8 million stops are evenly distributed around the earth (which, or course, we know to be false but for the purposes of our calculations we will accept), we are now talking about .78 miles per household, a total trip of 71.6 million miles, not counting stops to do what most of us must fo at least once every 31 hours.
This means that Santa's sleigh is moving at approx. 650 miles/second, 3,000 times the speed of sound. For the purposes of comparison, the fastest man-made vehicle on earth, the Ulysses space probe, moves at a mere 27.4 miles per second. A conventional reindeer can run 15 miles per hour, unless being chased by a pack of wolves.

4) The payload on the sleigh adds another interesting element. Assuming that each child gets nothing more than a medium-sized Lego set (2 pounds), the sleigh is carrying 321,300 TONS, not counting Santa, who is invariably described as overweight. On land, conentional reindeer can pull no more than 300 pounds. Even granting that "flying reindeer" (see point 1) could pull TEN TIMES the normal amount, we cannot do the job with eight, or even nine. We need 214,200 reindeer. This increases the payload - not even counting the weight of the sleigh - to 353,430 tons. Again, for comparison - this is four times the weight of the Queen Elizabeth (the boat, not the person).

5) 353,000 tons traveling at 650 miles per second cerates enormous air resistance - thus heating the chain in almost the same fashion as spacecraft re-entering the earth's atmosphere. As a result of this friction, the lead pair of reindeer will absorb around 14.3 QUINTILLION joules of energy... per second... EACH. In short, they will burst into flame almost instantaneously, exposing the reindeer behind them, and create defeaning sonic booms in their wake. The entire reindeer team will be vaporized within 4.26 milliseconds.
Santa, meanwhile, will be subjected to centrifugal forces 17,500 times greater than gravity. A 250-pound Santa (which seems ludicrously slim) would be pinned to the back of his sleigh by 4,315,015 pounds of force.

In conclusion - If Santa ever did deliver presents on Christmas Eve, he's dead now.

You don't know jack -- ehh.. Dantes

I know just by reading the title some of you may be turned off. "He's just seeking attention again." "He's so full of himself." The list can go on and on, and truth is.... you may be right. I may joke around a lot, and talk out of my ass sometimes, but what many of you don't see is my serious side. Not only do I prefer to make the usual jest, but I also like to have a challenge here and there, either mentally or physically (preferably mentally).

And so, now that I have basically given you an overview of what is to come, I shall begin my thesis. In class, we are currently working on our argument essay. With this essay, we are to first select a social issue that is now being faced by our society. Then we must choose a side and either defend or attack that issue. Well the first thing Prof. Tasha Baby does, is put up a list of topics we cannot discuss in our essay. Well here is where I will grab a handful, maybe two, of these controversial issues and share my views on them. Whether you agree or not is fine by me, you're entitled to be a wrong just like everyone else.

These are in alphabetical order.

Abortion - Nay
I'm against abortion in every sense of the word, either because of my religion, my morality, and simple logic. Church says abortion is the killing of a life and I wholeheartedly agree. A baby's heart starts beating at 18 days since conception, and for anyone doing any period math, you will know that that is only 4 days after you are late for your period. People who are for abortion, are not really checking themselves everytime they get down for a little bump and grind, so it is safe to assume that most, if not all abortions are done after the fact. So there's no going around the fact that the baby is alive and you are killing a human life. "A baby can't fend for him/herself and can't do anything about it." Oh okay, well if that's your state of mind, you might as well get rid of all the old, decrepit, lame, mentally challenged, people who don't contribute anything to life. "It's the woman's choice." Yet again, *buzzer sound* then you're saying that any ol' person can off someone whenever they are an inconvenience to themselves. Now, I know abortion is not going to go completely out of the window, so I'm more than happy to compromise and lower the deaths as much as possible. I think abortion should only be legal if, and only if, 1) One of the lives is in mortal jeaporday. 2) Incest or rape is involved. 3) Parental notification for anyone that is underage. And each case would be investigated before coming across a decision.

Adoption - Yay
I'm guessing this issue is for gay couples to adopt? Look I have no problem with Homosexuals adopting. I mean, if they qualify and are well suited to adopt a child be my guest.

Affirmative Action - Nay
I have no idea why this survived the last Supreme Court ruling of UCLA v. Bakke. I mean this law has been used and abused worse than Dobby's old clothes. I understand that this was to better minorities in society, but with the aforementioned case it should have been squashed. I mean, if the Legislative Branch really wanted to help improve blacks role in society then they should have clearly stated that when writing up this law. Now, even with that, it can be clearly determined that now in today's society that this law serves no purpose whatsoever, because now everyone has just as many opportunities to improve themselves in society as the person next to you.

Alcohol - Nay
I am not for lowering the drinking age. I know, I know, "You can go die for your country but you can't drink." Please that excuse has been more played out than Sexy Back - Justin Timberlake. People are stupid, not all but a hell of a lot, and they do overindulge in this stimulant, and that has the possibility of endangering others' lives. I'm not speaking out of my ass when I say that if this was lowered, there will exponentially be more alcohol related deaths. In the short run the drinking age line had with 18 year olds, the number soared with numerous cases of alcohol related deaths, beit posion, emotionally charged acts, or reckless endangerment with DUI. This is a no-no, the only way I would possibly agree to lowering the drinking age is if automobile corporations were now instructed to add a new safety feature, the breathalizer, to every car they make. That before the car even starts the driver must breathe into it to allow the driver to start the ignition. That would literally stop all DUIs out there. For the idiots who drink themselves to death, hey man you dug your own grave. Also with that said, I think the intoxication level is ridiculous. It's like "Oh, having some benadryl... Whoa I'm drunk." Please.. and this little vendetta cops have with drunk drivers, and waiting outside clubs and all this crap. I mean I understand because they want to stop all the alchy deaths but comeon.

Animal Experimentation - Yay
Ok tree huggers and animal lovers, get out of my way, because if these animal experimentations didn't happen then you can safely say that our life expectancy would be shot, and a shit load of diseases or illnesses out there would still be running rampid. Of course I agree that stuff done in an abusive manner is wrong. And that, as they say, is that.

Capital Punishment - Yay
Yes with a capital 'Y'. "Bro Dantes, you're such a hypocrite. You want innocent babies alives but fuck the people that are convicted by a jury that they are dousches and deserve to rot in hell!" FUCK YEAH! These low-lives deserved to be hung in the middle of a public square for everyone to see them die a very slow and dishonourable death, so that they know, that's how they are going to go if they fuck with the law. We pay too much money for these assholes to live in prison where they breathe the same air as me. Save your money and let them die with a short drop and a sudden stop. Oh and also, the automatic appeal should not happen, only a retrial if there is for a moment's doubt that they are guilty.

Censorship - Yay
I don't want to have kids and have them watch TV where people are bumping uglies on every channel. Nor do I want them to listen to a whole mess of crappy rappers out there cursing and talking about fUckIng sUm hOE while rolling on ex. If you wanna hear that shit buy XM radio and Direct TV.

Cloning - Nay
What a bad idea from the beginning. I mean how bad is it going to be morally, religiously, and economically. I mean what fool is going to ask for a $10,000+ person at the corner shop. And think about all the sick twisted people who do want that, and just use the clones for their own sexual and distorted fantasies.

Creation v Evolution - Yay
I mean if you're going to tell a story you might as well tell both sides of the coin. Or atleast teach why one idea is wrong and why the other idea is right or w/e. I think having the ten commandments or the quaran in a classroom also falls under this category somewhat, and I think it should be allowed. Especially in like govt. classes and such.

Drugs - ???
I mean I don't care if they legalize pot, but right now it aint the law so I don't want it.

Euthanasia - Nay
It's assisted suicide. Please, if a person is in a coma and can't get better, you think that person would tell you to kill him or not. If you want the person to die to ease your wallet or your burdened minds, pull the feeding or air tube. You're just letting the person trying to survive on his/her own.

Feminism - ???
Girl you already can vote and do everything else we can what else do you want? Oh what's that? Equal wages... THAT'S A CIVIL ISSUE! GET OFF MY TV! ... Oh and I don't care either or for women in the military.

Flag Burning - Nay
You should be deported or shot on the spot if you do this crap. Also, if you sit or talk during the Pledge of Allegiance, then get the fuck out, or HOPE that I don't see you. That is the most disrespectful shit anyone can ever do, besides mock my religion. I would tear you a new asshole if I saw you doing that. You stand up and stay quiet out of respect, even if you don't believe in "One Nation Under God".

Gambling - Yay
Why should it only be the Indians who have all the fun. Let everyone end up being broke and dancing in the streets for money.

Genetic Engineering - Nay
If it's for cosmetic purposes then no. If its to save the life of the baby then yes.

Global Warming - Nay
When I asked my mom about what she thought she replied, "I like it. I mean it rains a lot less here ever since that BS came out." And I agree with her 100% There's not enough conlusive scientific facts that humans are the cause for global warming. It could be the Earth evolving like it always does.

Guns - Nay
Give everyone a gun.

Health Care - Nay
Yeah socialized medicine would be great on paper and seems to be working out decently enough in like Sweden, but lemme ask you this. Where do they go when they need a very intricate surgery or treatment? Oh that's right, the US. Wanna know why? Because if we socialized medicine, what do doctors have to work for? Why would they care? Humans are strive to supercede the other, and thus why things are the way they are. If health care was socialized, why would the doctors bother to try, if all they get is the same shit with anyone else.

Immigration - Nay
Look here is my plan. Built up the wall, tighten borders, and keep everyone that's already here. Anyone else that comes in gets sent back home. Oh and the wet foot dry foot, no longer. It's favouritism to Cubans. Oh, and if you send more than a certain amount of money back home then you are kicked out aswell. Why are you sending money to a place where the economy will not flourish because of it. And if you want to know why I'm like this, just look at all the other countries' immigration policy,

Internet Privacy - Nay
Man, if shits out on the web, then its out there. You fucked up somewhere.

Pornography - Yay
Hell, its a booming industry. Nothing wrong with that. And it's been known to save marriages and help people out of depression. One problem I have is all the sodomy, bestiality, and child pornography or child-like roleplaying. I mean this just spurs on freaks everywhere and fucks with people's minds. Especially the already disturbed minds. And if you don't believe me about the sodomy and nasty shit out there, go watch 2 girls 1 cup. WARNING:: NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART LIKE SERIOUSLY, ONLY WATCH IT IF YOU ARE WILLING TO PUT YOURSELF THROUGH THAT.

Sex Education - Yay
Should be made manditory for every freshmen class, either in college or high school.

Smoking - Nay
I think it's utterly ridiculous that all laws now in effect, do not allow you to smoke anywhere on dryland!

Steroids - Yay
Choose your own poison. I mean yes steroids have a chance of disrupting your emotional track and mindset, but hey so can any other vice such as alcohol and the like. Let steroid use be at a certain level, and if athletes want to use them, LET THEM. I get my kicks when I see former high school slackers beating the crap out of each other.

Torture - Yay
Big time YAY! Torture should be implemented in all terror, murder, and treason related charges. For the protection and safety of our country. And it should not be limited to interrogation alone, also for punishment.

War on Terror - Yay
If you buy a car. Supe it up. Get a new engine, rims, tints, lights, the whole works. And spend all this money on it, and you decide you just don't like it, or its not what you thought it was going to be, are you really going to sell that car? Not unless you're a rich liberal idiot living off Daddy's payroll. The whole discussion whether it was right or not to go in is over now. We're in already, and if we decide to pull out now it will show weakness and instability within our own country. With that it shows division and indecisiveness. That will be a real moral downer on everyone and open up our country to even more acts of terrorism. Not only that, the war on terror is in a sense succeeding, because when was the last terrorist act committed other than in the Middle East? Takes a while to think about it, huh? Well that's because the total terrorist acts ACROSS THE WORLD has dropped substantially, and not only that, it's all located in essentially one area, instead of before where it was around the world. Now whether we go into Iran or not.....

These are my confessions

Hey everybody... i have a confession to make... i love cartoon porn. it satisfies me in more ways than you'll ever know! its all i can think about ... especially when im in tasha baby's class. its orgasmic!
